Hi! I’m Sophia—a ballet-trained dancer + musical theatre artist based in Philadelphia. I recently performed as Victoria in Cats at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman and will be returning for Anastasia! I hold a B.A. in Advertising, concentrating in Art Direction, from Temple University.

My love for dance started when I was 2, after I saw my brother in tap class and banged on the door until they let me join (and hey—it worked!). I grew up dancing a variety of styles, from tap to jazz to lyrical, but soon fell in love with ballet at The Rock School, where I trained for 14 years with pointework, partnering, and contemporary.

Since then, I’ve diversified my dance styles at Temple and nurtured a passion for musical theatre. Some favorite credits: Victoria in Cats (Broadway Theatre of Pitman), Pauleen in West Side Story (Broadway Theatre of Pitman), and Lou Ann in Hairspray (Levoy Theatre).

From the dance to the design world, I’m all about creative expression and bringing stories to life. My performing arts background and art direction knowledge interweave to inspire my best work in performing and creating.

Fun fact: my first ballet contract was at age 8 when I got hired by Pennsylvania Ballet (now Philadelphia Ballet) to be a party girl and an angel. 😇
